Environmental Quality Incentives Program

The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is one of NRCS’ prevalent conservation program that helps landowners integrate conservation practices into working lands.

Since 2004 M&E has provided a multitude of assistance for NRCS and local landowners for on farm services.  Multiple task orders have been issued to complete:

  1. (14) Base sheets for standard drawings including:
      • Poultry Litter Storage Build
      • CMP Drop Inlets
      • Siphon Spillway
      • Drainage Diaphragm
      • Underground Outlet
      • CMP Hood and Hooded Drop Inlets
      • Concrete Low Water Crossing
      • Irrigation Pipelines;
  2. (187) EQIP contracts to complete surveys, designs, construction oversight and final certification for conservation practices. Practices included:
      • Grassed Waterways
      • Parallel Terraces
      • Diversion Terrace
      • Land Leveling
      • Grade Stabilization Structures
      • Embankment and Excavated Ponds
      • Underground Outlets
  3. (12) Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) contracts to complete surveys, designs, construction oversight and final certification.  Practices included:
      • Dikes
      • CMP Water Control Structures
      • Micro-Topography
    •  

M&E’s team provided surveys, designs, layout, construction oversight, and final certification for all EQIP’s awarded.
